How To Stop Your iPhone from Dimming

We’ve all experienced it – you’re watching a movie on your iPhone and all of a sudden the screen dims, making it difficult to see. It can be annoying, but it doesn’t have to be this way. If you are facing this issue on your phone, then you can contact Converged Devices.

There are a few different ways to stop your iPhone from dimming and keep the display bright.

Adjust Your Brightness Settings

The simplest way to stop your iPhone from dimming is to adjust the brightness settings. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Display & Brightness and manually adjust the brightness level. You can also turn on the auto-brightness setting, which will adjust the brightness for you depending on the ambient light.

Disable Auto-Lock

Another way to stop your iPhone from dimming is to disable the auto-lock feature. This feature dims the screen after a certain period of inactivity. To disable it, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock and select “Never”.

Turn Off Low-Power Mode

Low-power mode is a great way to conserve battery life, but it can also cause your iPhone to dim. To disable it, go to Settings > Battery and toggle off the Low-Power Mode.

Disable Night Shift

If you have night shift activated, it can cause your iPhone to dim. This feature adjusts the color temperature of the display to reduce eye strain at night. To turn it off, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift and toggle off the switch.
